Israel has returned to Turkey historical manuscripts that were stolen by the Israeli rescue team sent to help after the Kahraman Maraş earthquake that took place on February 6.

And the Turkish "Haber7" website reported that it turned out that the Israeli search and rescue team that was sent to Turkyie following the earthquake took with it manuscripts from the Book of Esther from the destroyed Jewish synagogue in Antioch.

The Turkish news website indicated that the scrolls of the Book of Esther, which were extracted from the ruins of the synagogue, which was severely damaged in the earthquake, were first transferred to Israel by the research teams, to be sent by Israel again to Turkyie, and are now with the Chief Rabbinate in Istanbul.

For its part, the Turkish Jewish community stated on its official account on "Twitter", saying: "The relevant manuscripts of Esther were received from Israel and are now preserved in Turkey and will return to Antioch after the renovation of the Jewish synagogue."
