Star Alliance CEO discussed aviation prospects in Cairo

Star Alliance CEO Jeffrey Goh visited(Tuesday)Egypt Air Holding company in Cairo where he discussed with its officials the prospects of air aviation industry.

Goh, who arrived at Egypt within a regional tour, met with Captain Ahmed Adel, the Egyptian company’s CEO and exchanged views on the vital role the company plays as one of the Alliance’s regional representatives, and its development plans to serve its clients as well as the Alliance’s.

During the meeting, Adel extended congratulations to Goh as the Alliance recently has claimed the Best Airline Alliance title at the Skytrax World Airline Awards for the third year running, with the Alliance’s prestigious Los Angeles Lounge retaining the Best Airline Alliance Lounge Award for the fourth year in a row.

Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Star Alliance is one of the world's largest global airline alliances. Currently it has 28 member airlines, each with its own distinctive culture and style of service. Egypt Air joined the Alliance in 2008 to contribute in extending the service of the Allied airlines to (currently)1317 airports around the world.
