St. Petersburg University Evacuates Building Because of Collapse

CAIRO,

Feb. 17 (SEE)- The Russian authorities evacuated about 81

student from St. Petersburg University as many floors collapsed on Saturday 16th

February.

The emergency

ministry spokesman General Igor Konashnikov confirmed that there were no injury

or death cases as a result for the collapsed which happened in the faculties of

Information Technology, Mechanics, and Optics.

According to

the American ABC News agency, the spokesman pointed to that the incident

happened during conducting construction within the university. The incident was

investigated for a violation of the building rules.

Begloff, St. Petersburg governor announced that the evacuation process included

about 20 foreign student.
