Sharm El-Sheikh to Host "Africa 2018 Forum"

Cairo, Dec. 4 (SEE) - Economic forum "Africa 2018" will be held on December 8 -9, in Sharm El Sheikh, under the theme of " Bold Leadership and Collective Commitment" and hosting 2,000 participants.

The forum will include sessions on women empowerment, and the Young Entrepreneurs Day ''YED''.

The event will be organized by Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa ''COMESA'' Regional Investment Agency in cooperation with Egypt’s Ministry of Investment under the sponsor of President Abdel Fattah El- Sisi.

Agency’s Regional Manager Heba Salama expressed her appreciation for Egypt’s role in supporting economic relations between African countries and the ministry’s role in hosting the conference for three years.

Presidents of Zimbabwe، Togo، Niger and Rwanda will attend the forum as well as large number of business leaders and government leaders to discuss pressing economic and trade issues that contribute to sustainable growth and sustainable development in member states.

It is worth mentioning that ''Africa 2017 Forum" was attended by some 3,000 participants, including heads of state, ministers, investors, entrepreneurs and African and regional institutions.
