Saudis praise the Egyptian team on twitter

On twitter, Saudis celebrated the respectful performance of the Egyptian National Team during its match with Uruguay Friday. Several tweets reflected how they were looking with pride and admiration to the Egyptian players, even after one day of the Saudis’ loss to Russia 5-0.

One of the tweets praises the goalkeeper Mohamed ElShenawy of Egypt, and how he could successfully protect his team from several attempts by Uruguay players to score. Another praises the way according to which the team was formed. It elaborated that the team was carefully selected according to the skills and level of the player and never according to the name of the club he is affiliated to. Another tweet praises the Egyptian team which, even with the loss to Uruguay, could gain the respect of its people, and the other foreign teams.
