CAIRO, March.6 (SEE)- El-Ahly is now on the verge of exiting the African Champions League after suffering a severe five clean goal loss to South African side Sundowns on Saturday in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.

El-Ahly needs a miracle to stay in the championship,as this the biggest defeat for El Ahly in the history of the club's participation in African competitions, which they started their journey in 1987.

It was a weak showing overall for the former champions as they lacked any vital attacks throughout the whole match, as they only struck on goal 6 times, whilst the South African club saw more that 18 chances.
