Port Said receives cruise ship with 1359 tourists on board

CAIRO, AUG 25 (SEE)-Mamdouh el-Harty, Security Director of the Northern Suez Canal Economic Zone(SCZone) received on Friday the cruise ship Viking Orion, carrying on board 896 passengers of different nationalities and 463 sailors at Port Said.

The port administration facilitated all procedures for the entry and exit of tourists, to and from the port, and presented souvenirs to the ship's crew.

upon arrival, tourists boarded buses heading for quick trips to Cairo in preparation for the departure of the ship on Saturday.

The cruise ship is one of the world's newest tourist vessels, built in 2018. It is 196 meters long with a 6.5-meter plunge. Its routes include the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Alaska.
