CAIRO, Feb. 5 (SEE) - Vatican Pope Francis Benedict made a nice gesture toward a girl who tried to greet him while he was entering a tens of thousands-loaded stadium
in the city of Zayed, Abu Dhabi for a Mass, during a landmark visit to the UAE.
Video footage wired at Skynewsarabia.com showed the holy see entering the place where around 135,000 people were present, shouting to welcome him. And while he was in an open car accompanied by dozen guards, a girl rushed to the vehicle to greet him.
The driver continued his way, ignoring the girl, before stopping at the request of Pope Francis, where he received the girl, greeted and thanked her.
The Pope is in a landmark visit to the UAE, where the Global Conference on Human Fraternity has just concluded, and was attended by the Grand Imam of Alazhar Sheikh Ahmed El-Tayeb, along with hundreds of guests from all over the world.
