As part of "Egypt Reads" lectures series organized by the Faculty of Graduate Studies at American University in Cairo (AUC), the Faculty is organizing this week a series of public lectures for the international speaker, writer and professor Visitor to the University, Dr. Danny Brassell.

In organizing the event "Egypt Reads" , AUC is collaborating with the University's Joint Reading Program, the main library and the American University in Cairo Publishing House. It aims to promote reading inside and outside the university community.

Brassell's mission is to stimulate an inpidual's love of reading and to restore the joy of education. He uses humor and motivational techniques to inspire audiences around the world to improve their literacy skills and behaviors.

The lectures will focus on the magic of reading and encourage students, parents, teachers and teachers to devote time to reading by providing high-quality books suitable for passionate readers. He will recommend books to students, parents, teachers and teachers as well as the best ways to read more books.

He has helped many schools, universities, and faculties to change the institutional culture so that students want to read more than they might be asked to, and read whatever lies in their hands.

Brassell has long experience in teaching thousands of new teachers each year as an academic advisor to CalStateTEACH, California's online teacher certification program.

In 2003, he founded The Lizzy Readers, www.lazyreaders.com, the number one site on the Google search engine with nice suggestions for "reading short books," with 10,000 subscribers.

Also, he had a radio show of his own and appeared in several different television and film projects, and was presenting a five-season television program called ''People Make a Difference'', which was watched by more than 4 million homes in Southern California.

His speech in 2012, “Changing Life with Reading,” was also one of the most humorous and inspiring educational speeches of the past five years.

The AUC announced the dates and locations of public lectures, which came as follows:
