I ask my dear readers to excuse me for making this article very special one.. I will not be talking this time about our lives, problems, urgent issues.. As I have lost my dearest person.. Mom .. I learned about her death while I was away from home.. I was covering a conference in Emirates, and I thank God, I was surrounded by loving hearts and supportive people who  relieved the pain.

I ended my trip and returned to Cairo on the same day .. But I could not escort her body to its final place, something that increased my heart pain. I sat down to recall memories which reflect her kindness and favor in my life..  a story of unparalleled kindness, love and sacrifices, which I can never justly describe.. She is really the ‘mercy’.. I have nothing but to thank all those who were there for me at that time.. And I can only extend my prayers for the soul of my mother and for all good mothers who passed away after having completed their role and done their duties..

O Allah, forgive her and elevate her station among those who are guided..

Send her along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and her..

O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for her her grave and shed light upon her in it..

O Allah, forgive her and have mercy on her and give her strength and pardon her..

Be generous to her and cause her entrance to be wide and wash her with water and snow and hail..

Cleanse her of her transgressions as white cloth is cleansed of stains..

Give her an abode better than her home, and a family better than her family..

Take her into Paradise and protect her from the punishment of the grave and Hell..

O Allah, surely she is under Your protection, and in the rope of Your security, so save her from the trial of the grave and from the punishment of the Fire..

You fulfil promises and grant rights, so forgive her and have mercy on her. Surely You are Most Forgiving, Most Merciful..

Once again.. Thanks to all those who show support, caring, kindness and were there for me during that time.
