CAIRO. Jan.9 (SEE)- Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhi congratulated Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah, on his inauguration as the 2018 African Player of the Year award at a ceremony organized by the African Confederation of Football (CAF).
Sobhi then revealed a huge surprise for the young Egyptian, which is the establishment of a museum that holds his name in El-Gezira Sports and Youth Center. The Minister of Youth and Sports praised Salah’s performance with his English club and the national football team in various tournaments, pointing out that Salah is the source of constant joy and pride for Egyptians
Dr. Ashraf Subhi expressed his wish that this honor will be a strong incentive for the player to continue his performance and to provide a wonderful season with his English club as well as the national team in the upcoming African Cup of Nations, which Egypt will host in June this year.
