Min. of High Education Vows to Solve Problems of Palestinian Students

CAIRO, Nov. 28 (SEE) – Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, minister of High Education vowed to solve problems of Palestinian students in Egypt, while affirming the unchangeable will of Egypt to enhance the mutual relations with Palestine and boost all sorts of cooperation.

His statements came during a meeting with the Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Mr. Diab Elluh and the embassy’s cultural counselor Dr. Mohamed Khaled at the ministry’s headquarter.

Dr. Abdel Ghaffar further promised to do all efforts to solve problems of the Palestinian students studying at Egyptian universities as well as removing all obstacles before them in this regard.

For his part, the Palestinian Ambassador hailed the pioneer role Egypt plays in the region as well as the support it provides for Palestinians in all fields. He noted to the trust Palestinian students have in the Egyptian educational institutions, especially at the ‘medicine’ field.

The Ambassador underscored the excellence of scientific and academic intellectuals at the Egyptian universities, while asking for increasing the number of scholarships available for Palestinian students, especially at BA level.

On other hand, the Cultural Counselor expressed gratitude for the ministry for supporting the Palestinian students, where he explained that those are enrolled at faculties of Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy.
