Met Gala took place at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, and stars went all out for the theme "Camp: Notes on Fashion." It is always held on the first Monday of May.

"The theme of the event in 2019 referred to the seminal 1964 essay "Notes on Camp" by the late cultural critic Susan Sontag," according to CNN.

Lady Gaga, an American singer, songwriter, and actress, opened the night with several dramatic costume changes and Katy Perry lit up the evening with her chandelier-inspired look.

Cardi B, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Kris Jenner also participated in the event.
