Univ. of Arts Helsinki Offers MA in Choreography

CAIRO, Dec,9 (SEE)-The Theatre Academy at the University of the Arts Helsinki is offering Master’s Degree Program in Choreography for two years of full-time studies.

The program offers students multifaceted and collective learning environment, which supports their artistic development, critical awareness and understanding of practices and strategies in contemporary choreography and of the interactional relationship between art and society.

The intake is biennial and, in spring 2019, three to five new students will be accepted to join the program.

The MA program emphasizes a historically conscious, yet critical, open, and research-based take on choreography. It offers the student a versatile learning environment which supports artistic development, dialogue and cooperation, integrating practice and theory in studies and artistic processes.
