Mansour Group Launches Totally New Astra in Egypt

CAIRO. Nov. 6 (SEE)-Latest edition of the German automobile Opel Astra joined Opel's fleet in Egypt, according to Al-Mansour Automotive.

New Astra's edition joined the members of Opel's new family: Grandland, Crossland, and Insigna Grand Sport. All were introduced to the market this year.

The new edition, introduced by the giant manufacturer Opel, offers the strongest automotive technology in the world. The car's engine reaches 1.4 liter with turbocharger that generates 140 horsepower. Its automatic transmission offers 6 velocities. Thus the vehicle's maximum speed per hour reaches 207 km.

Astra guarantees its drivers all means of safety. The vehicle is equipped with four airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), anti-slip regulation, electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), electronic stability program (ESP), traction control system, hill start assist, and engine immobilizer to prevent theft.

The car also offers a system to adjust, combine and heat mirrors electrically; electric power steering with speed sensors; speed fixer; speed limiter; 7 inch Atlantic color screen; trip computer; and dual automatic air conditioning distribution.
