CAIRO, Nov.7 (SEE)-Under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, “Egypt Can via Education” Conference will be held in Luxor on Dec. 17 and 18.

Nabila Makram, Immigration minister, stressed that the conference reflects the Egyptian leadership’s interest to improve the educational system.

“Earlier, President Sisi announced that 2019 is dedicated for education’s improvement,” she said on Thursday.

The minister elaborated that Luxor’s conference is the fourth edition of ‘Egypt Can’ initiative that aims to connect expats with the local issues so that talented persons may contribute to solving Egypt’s domestic problems.

“Dozens of Egyptian scholars and experts are expected to take part in the convention,” Makram added.

Worth noting is that the first edition of the conference was held in Dec. 2016 in Hurghada under the motto of ‘Egypt Can’ by scholars and experts. Worth noting is that dozens of Egyptian expatriates participated in that event.

The second edition took place in Cairo in July, 2017, under the motto of “Egypt Can BY Women” in coordination with the National Council of Women; 32 female scholars attended it.

In Feb, 2018, Luxor hosted the third edition of the conference under the motto of “Egypt Can By Nile Sons.” It was dedicated to agriculture and water resources management.
