LAFF Opening Ceremony Highlights

CAIRO, Mar.16 (SEE)- In the presence of  public figures, Egyptian and African celebrities, the Luxor African Film Festival (LAFF) kicked off in its eighth edition, inside the Karnak Temple.

Stars Mahmoud Hemida, Lebleba, Elham Shaheen, Amina Khalil, Tariq Abd Al-Aziz, Sabry Fawaz, Ahmed Abdallah Mahmoud, Head of the Censorship Committee Khaled Abdel Jalil, Producer Mohamed Hefzi, and LAFF executive director Azza al-Husseini, as well as a number of Tunisian artists, were among the attendees.

President of the Festival Scenarist Sayed Fouad praised Culture Minister Enas Abdel-Dayem for her assistance and support, greeting the Tunisian delegation for being the festival's country of honor.

Fouad wished all attendees to enjoy the films that will be presented during the festival, revealing that the premiere of an Egyptian-British movie "Luxor" will be displayed during the LAFF events.
