King's College London prepares curriculum for Sharm El Sheikh's Faculty of Dentistry

CAIRO, JULY 10 (SEE)  Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khalid Abdel Ghaffar received on Tuesday Deputy Vice President of the Department of Global Business Development at King's College London (KCL) Tayyeb Shah; to discuss ways of boosting cooperation between the two sides.

During the meeting, Abdel Ghaffar said, Egypt possesses a human wealth of scholars, researchers, and innovators, in addition to many centers, institutes, and distinguished research bodies, praising King's College for its long-standing and its reliance on linking studies to applied research.

The meeting discussed mechanisms of activating cooperation in fields of common interest, especially in scientific research, science, technology, and innovation, linking scientific research with industry, preparing graduates capable of creating job opportunities for themselves and discussing the need to benefit from expertise and scientists in Egyptian education.

For his part, Shah stressed his keenness to cooperate with Egyptian universities and research centers, and his readiness to provide all aspects of support in the field of higher education and scientific research, pointing out his cooperating with several educational institutions to participate in the preparation of the curriculum of the dentistry university which is to be established in Sharm El Sheikh.
