CAIRO, Mar. 6 (SEE) — The Prodigy band soloist Keith Flint, known especially for the song "Firestarter," was found dead at his home in England.

The singer was discovered by the police on Monday 3rd in his dwelling in Dunmow, Essex, after an ambulance responded to the call of a man who was subsequently found unconscious. His death is not treated as a suspect.

“We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Brook Hill, North End, just after 8.10am on Monday,” the police said in a statement. “We attended and, sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

The Prodigy band was founded in 1990 by Liam Howlett. Flint was only a dancer at that time. He recorded his first song as a vocalist with the band in 1996. The singer was born in September 17, 1969, in London and had been married to Japanese DJ Mayumi Kai since 2006. He became one of the UK’s most iconic musicians in the 90s.
