CAIRO, Mar. 8 (SEE) - March 8 is the day which turned from a painful memory to an international celebration. Creativity and pain are correlated partners for the woman. In spite of challenges, women prove their success everywhere. Therefore, SEE celebrates the International Woman's Day.

A festive and nice gesture made by National Council for Women in cooperation with Cairo airport, today which marks International Women Day.

Cairo Airport received Arab and foreign female passengers arriving to Egypt this morning, distributed roses and chocolates, along with ‘ta’ symbol which indicates feminine.

On her part, Dr. Maya Morsi, head of National Council for Women hailed the cooperation with the airport. She added that the idea of ​​distributing the symbol ‘ta’ to women on this day came as ‘ta’ has become a symbol and icon for Egyptian women, and it is a welcome gesture on behalf of the Egyptian women to the women coming from abroad, and to all women of the world. The Ta -movie in English was displayed on all screens of the airport's arrival and departure halls.

Dr. Morsi extended her greetings to all women around the world on this important occasion, in recognition of the role of women and their contributions in all fields.

On her part, Ambassador Mona Omar, member of the Council and Rapporteur of the Committee on Foreign Relations, expressed her happiness with the reactions of women at the airport. She pointed that this gesture reflect Egypt's interest in the role of women domestically and internationally, but also it helps in promoting tourism.

The women and girls coming to Egypt expressed their happiness for this beautiful gesture, and thanked the organizers.
