CAIRO, SEPT 5 (SEE): Egypt's Planning Minister Hala El-Saeed discussed on Tuesday with South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda investment plans and projects due to be implemented in the governorate in the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
The talks tackled obstacles that may hamper the projects as well as preparations for the World Youth Forum due to be held in Sharm El Sheikh from 3 to 6 November.
The total investments in South Sinai development are worth EGP 1.363 billion.
Khaled Fouda said: ''In order to confront the danger of floods, three dams were set up at EGP 25 million in addition to 191 man-made lakes in Saint Catherine, noting that an additional 50 lakes are in the pipeline."
