Int'nal Conference Recommends Creation of Arabic Agency for AI

The vice president of Asyut University Shehata Al-Ghareb announced, today in Hurghada, in an international conference “Prospects for Development in the Arab World ... Legal Vision” recommendations to create an Arabic agency for artificial intelligence.

In cooperation with Blue Jordan University, Asyut University organized this conference; it was sponsored by higher education minister Khaled Abd Al- Ghaffar.

Blue Jordan University president Bassam Al-Helou and faculty of Law at the Blue University attended the conference.

The conference also recommended investment promotion to protect the environment, proposed a unified technology transfer agreement from the West and to create economic courts.

Al-Ghareb said, “It’s important to encourage young researchers and Intellectual Property Students.” He also thanked the founder of Blue University Mahmoud Abu Shaera for his efforts to support the conference. He pointed out that about 85 researchers from Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Yemen and UAE participated in the conference with 43 researches.

At the same time, civil law professor Mohamed Hossam Lotfy said, “Egypt had entered a new field of intellectual property thanks to the ancient Egyptians who were pioneers in this field.”
