Instagram Uncovers New Feature for Chatting

CAIRO, Dec.11 (SEE) - Instagram clearly recognised that it has become one of the main chatting platforms for many users which is why it has adopted voice messages to make conversations easier. It added a ''walkie-talkie'' voice messaging feature. The new update can be recorded by holding the microphone button on the direct Message thread of the recipient.

The social media platform is set to launch a new voice chat feature on the app. That lets users record a message and send it to a friend. The feature is being rolled out globally for both iOS and Android apps. It can be used for both inpidual chats and group chats.

Similar to Apple's Message the recorded message will appear as an audio wave form that recipients can listen to.

Also, Users can record messages that are up to one minute long.
