Germany Launches "AMBOSS" to Serve Medical School Students in Egypt, Arab World

The AMBOSS educational website has launched its educational services in the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially for medical students, to study and prepare for examinations, through the provision of teaching materials in new ways to keep pace with global development in cooperation with institutions and universities from all over the world.

Dr. Karim Salah Al-Din, the Regional Director Officer for AMBOSS, said that the German educational website was founded in early 2012 to be one of the leading sites in the field of medical education services worldwide.

Salah Al-Din attributed the success of the site that provides the approved and not available or non-current references. Therefore, medical students from the German and Austrian countries became among the first to interact with the site and 90% of medical students and doctors from Germany and Austria use the site as a primary source of study.

He noted that with the launch of the English version of the site in 2017 students from medical schools around the world, especially students in the Middle East and with Egypt's students of Egypt in the lead, registered their data on the site in order to become an irreplaceable medical reference.

The Regional Director of the site confirmed that the medical content of the Question Bank has become the equivalent of 4,000 medical questions, and there are more than 30 medical colleges around the world that has contracted with the site; to be a major source for their enrolled students.
