Full Timetable and Procedures for African Cup of Nations Revealed

CAIRO, Jan.13 (SEE)- The Opening Ceremony and match of the upcoming African Cup of Nations, which will be held in Egypt on June 15 of 2019, while the Closing Ceremony and final of the tournament will be held on the 13th of July of 2019.

The tournament will feature 24 teams, which will be pided into 6 groups with each group holding 4 teams. The first and second placed teams of each group will qualify onto the last sixteen. While the best 4 teams who hold third place will also exceptionally qualify.

The last African Cup of Nations tournament in 2017 was won by Cameroon, which defeated Egypt in the final with 2 goals to one.
