The Egyptian satellite EgyptSat- A broadcasted the first-of-its-kind video for the surface of Earth using 4K technology.
It’s the first time for a spacecraft to shoot a video using this high resolution technology. In the video, spectators can observe both the Mediterranean and Red seas very clearly.
It’s remarkable that Egypt Sat-A consists of 6 video cameras; including 2 portable ones. Moreover, there’s 6 computers to control and edit all videos.
EgyptSat-A was manufactured by “Inergia”; a Russian company for space equipment and rocket. This was according to an official request from the Egyptian authorities.
The Russian company launched the satellite in February from the Baikonur base in Kazakhstan.
