The 45-year-old Goal keeping legend insisted that Hector Cuper's side are working hard to break Qualifying through the group stage at the World Cup.

Egypt goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary has stated the country’s dream of reaching the knockout stage of the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia.

In their last two World Cup outings in 1934 and 1990, the Pharaohs have failed to get out of the group stage.

However, ahead of their return to the global stage - after a 28-year absence - the Al-Taawoun shot-stopper who is set to become the oldest player to grace the World Cup in history has made known the team’s goal in Russia.

Although his words remain uncertain following Egypt's lackluster Pre-World Cup campaign in which they didn’t win a single match.
