EgyptAir to hold 19 additional flights to the World Cup

CAIRO, JUNE 7 (SEE) EgyptAir will facilitate 19 additional flights to transport nearly 3,000 fans to Russia to support the national team in the World Cup, starting on June 10, and ending on June 28, Safwat Musallam, Chairman of EgyptAir announced

Musallam added, EgyptAir will be the official carrier of the Egyptian fans using the latest models and highest levels of luxury and comfort. This is part of the national role played by the company in supporting and sponsoring all Egyptian clubs and teams participating in international tournaments.

The chartered flights will land at the airports that will witness the World Cup, Grozny International Airport, Koltsovo International Airport, Polkovo International Airport, Volgograd International Airport, and Domodedovo International Airport.

These additional charter flights are unlike regular flights that operate three times weekly arriving in Moscow’s International Airport, every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, and intensification of additional flights is to be considered in case of qualification or increased demand by fans who wish to support the international sports forum, Musallam noted
