Egypt to provide free doses for virus "C" patients

CAIRO, SEP11 (SEE) –  Tahya Misr Fund announced on Monday that medical convoys  will  provide free doses to 60,000 patients suffering from  virus "C"  across Egypt.

 

Tamer Abdel-Fattah, a financial and administrative director of the fund said:"The medical doses will be distributed via 65 centers in governmental hospitals, as well as in clinics that are a part of the National Committee for Control of Viral Hepatitis."

 

Tahya Misr aims to enter into deals with universities to open outpatient clinics to test students and provide free of charge medications.

The move is part of the joint campaign, known as the Extensive Campaign to eradicate virus C by 2020.
