Hazem Fahmy, the Egyptian ambassador in South Korea said that this year the flights between Egypt and South Korea will be resumed.

The season would start with 5 flights with capacity of 280 tourists per each flight.

The ambassador added that the flights will continue for the next two months to Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, and Cairo. It's the first time since 2011 after the flights had stopped.

The Korean flight operators announced in newspapers this resumption. Within two weeks, 25% of these flights had been booked already showing the increasing demand that will result in higher forecasting levels.

Fahmy explained that the Korean tourism is a big market, and half of Koreans travel around the world every year. He also announced that Tutankhamun's monuments will be displayed in Seoul by 2022 at the Korean National Museum.
