COPENHAGEN, Jan. 21 (SEE)-Egypt lost to Norway 32-28 at the IHF World Men’s Handball Championship, held on Sunday at the Jyske Bank Boxen, Herning, Denmark.

Egypt prompted the game by scoring the match’s first goal in the second minute. However, thanks to its rapid performance, Norway turned the table, and managed to draw with Egypt 3-3, in the sixth minute. The match’s first half ended in 16-14 to Norway.

Norway scored the 17th goal in the second half’s first minute. Thanks to Egypt’s Karim Ayman, who participated only three minutes and six seconds in the second half, Egypt scored its second half’s first goal.

In the 35th minute, the gap between both teams started to widen in Norway’s favor, when the result was 19-15.

Worth noting is that Norway was the runner-up of the championship’s last edition that was celebrated in 2017, in France.
