Egypt hosts " Arab Universities Union" in Sharm el Sheikh

CAIRO, Feb.3 (SEE)_Helwan university and South Sinai government started preparing for the 52nd conference of " Arab Universities Union." In Sharm el Sheikh. The conference starts on the 21st till the 23rd of March.

Governor of South Sinai Khaled Fouda met with Dr. Maged Negm, the head of Helwan University along with vice head Dr. Hossam Refaai.

The conference was last hosted 14 years ago, according to Negm.

It is expected to discuss this year, higher education issues and scientific research in the Middle East, in addition to enhancing the relations between the regional and international educational institutions.

200 heads of different Arab universities will attend the event; it includes both, private and governmental universities. This union boosts the Egyptian economy by encouraging foreign students to study in Egypt.
