Denmark Defeats Egypt at World Handball Championship

HERNING, Jan. 22 (SEE) – Egypt lost to Denmark 26-20 at the 2019 IHF World Men’s Handball Championship, held on Monday at the Jyske Bank Boxen, Herning, Denmark.

The score of the match’s first half was 9-7 to Denmark. Egypt is scheduled to meet Tunisia on Wednesday.

Worth noting is that Denmark was the championship’s runner-up in 1967, 2011, and 2013. Denmark finished third in 2007. It achieved fourth place in 1938, 1958, 1970, 1978, 1982, and 2009.

On the other side, Egypt’s and Tunisia’s highest achievement was finishing fourth in 2001 and 2005, respectively.
