CAIRO, Feb. 17 (SEE)- Culture Minister Inas Abdel-Dayem inaugurated the Aswan International Festival of Culture and Arts on Sunday.

The festival observed the participation of 16 international folklore ensembles and seven domestic ones.

In consonance with the announcement of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, indicating that Aswan is the 2019 African youth capital, the festival was accompanied by a large number of cultural activities from Europe and Africa.

Abdel-Dayem signified her satisfaction with the participating ensembles, noting that such events contribute to promoting tourism in Egypt.
