Crown Prince of Dubai Stops by Gift Painting From Hosny

CAIRO, Mar. 20 (SEE) - His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Crown Prince of Dubai, showed interest in having a picture with a painting, given as a gift to Emirates by artist Farouk Hosni, former Minister of Culture.

 

The painting is now shown at the ‘Art Fair Dubai’, an art exhibition which brings together art lovers, that he opened and toured.

Sheikh Hamdan praised the gift painting by Hosni, which recognizes the fraternal relations  between the Egyptian and Emirati peoples as well as the UAE's significant regional but also international role on various fields.

The painting, which  titled "Greetings to the UAE," attracted the attention of all at the opening of the Art Fair Dubai, where the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority celebrated the gift by placing it at the entrance of the exhibition.

The painting applied the colors of the UAE flag but in different arrangement. In addition, it featured abstract forms of peace and love birds flying in white space. He added yellow color that symbolizes the land of the Emirates and blue which symbolizes its skies.

 

The exhibition is being held under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and governor of Dubai. The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority is the strategic partner of the exhibition and the main provider of its educational projects throughout the year.
