Coptic Church holds photography competition for all Egyptians

CAIRO, Sept 8 (SEE) - The Orthodox Coptic Church announced that it will hold a photography competition under the theme "Egypt, the Beautiful", the church's media center said on Saturday.

The competition, which is under the auspices of Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Saint Mark Tawadros II Pope Tawdros, focuses on taking photos of Egypt's people, archeological sites and beautiful nature provided that the images should be innovative and new.

The competition has three axes; 1- Egypt the people 2- Egypt the artifacts 3- Egypt the nature.

It also has two levels; a level for professional photographers and another level for amateurs.

The church determined awards for the winners; the first place winner will get EGP 15,000, the second one will gain 10,000 while the third winner will get 5,000.

The contest results will be announced at a public celebration and exhibition for the presented photos that will take place on November 18, 2018. awards will be distributed by pثقبope Tawdros.

All Egyptians here and abroad are allowed to partake in the competition.
