CAIRO, Feb. 23 (SEE)- Earlier today, North Korea’s Chairman Kim Jong-un set off on a train ride heading to Vietnam’s Capital Hanoi where his second Summit with U.S. President Donald Trump will be held, Russia News Agency Tass reported.

Chairman Kim’s journey started at 5:00 pm, Pyongyang local time, as per Tass, and along 2800 miles the armored train will pass across southern Chinese lands and their neighboring northern Vietnamese cities. The trip will take at least two and a half days prior to arriving at its destination.

It was also reported earlier today that Chairman Kim will pay a visit to Vietnam ahead of the summit on the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President Nguyen Phu Trong.

The Trump-Kim summit is scheduled to take place on February 27-28, in which both leaders are urged to take further actions beyond their Kodak moments in front of the world.

Since their first meeting in Singapore, eight months ago, hardly ever any progress have been observed to resolve the crisis, despite both leaders’ pledge to work on denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula.

Denuclearization, easing sanctions imposed on North Korea and issuing a war-ending declaration are all issues that have to be negotiated as soon as Chairman Kim and Mr. Trump sit on the table.
