The Canadian Senate Speaker George Furey and his accompanying delegation visited the Great Egyptian Museum (GEM) in Egypt yesterday.
This visit took place in the presence of Dr. Hussein Kamal, general director of technical affairs for restoration and Dr. Jehan Nabil, supervisor of international relations and visitor service at the museum.
The tour included a visit to the great hall, statue of King Ramses and the restoration laboratories at the museum.
