Youth of Beit Al-Arab forum decided on Wednesday choosing Cairo as a capital of the Arab youth for 2018. This came at the Arab League premises in the presence of Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy, Arab League's Assistant Secretary General for Social Affairs Ambassador Badr el Din Alali, President of the Global Youth Leadership Forum Jacobo Pombo and Arab officials.
The next period will witness various events, including sports, cultural and technological ones as a part of "Cairo Capital of Arab Youth" events. The first edition of the Capital of Arab Youth events started in the Bahraini capital, Manama in 2015. Then Morocco was announced as the capital of Arab youth in 2016. The capital of Arab youth in 2017 was Kuwait City.
