Cairo Photo Week to Break Ice in Downtown Cairo

CAIRO, Nov 17 (SEE)- Under the theme of ''Tell Your Visual Story'' the extensive programme of ''Cairo Photo Week'' will run for eight days and take place in the heart of Downtown Cairo at two of its historic buildings'' Kodak and Tamara'' Passageway. The festival spearheaded by Photopia will immerse the city in everything photography related it and will open on 22 November.

The event is the first of its kind in Egypt and offers something for everyone as master classes on analogue and digital photography to exhibitions.

The activities will cover digital and analogue photography in a wide range of genres that include commercial, documentary and fine art, as well as fashion and food styling, photo editing and retouching.

It will feature three exhibitions, talks by 80 speakers and four discussion panels, 15 workshops, as well as photo challenges, portfolio reviews, photo walks, and a market for used gear and photography books.

Photo's festival includes prominent photographers such as; Faouzi Massrali, Toufic Araman, Amr El Saadany, Dany Eid, Karim Omran, Yehia El-Alaily and Salma El-Kashef.
