CAIRO, Jan. 13 (SEE)- 2019 Cadillac CT6, it's stylish a technological leader and it has one of the industry's most advanced semi autonomous driver assist systems as well as it adopts a new twin turbocharged V-8 engine.

The 2019 Cadillac’s traditional vertical taillights, by adding an element that bleeds into the trunk where it meets a chrome strip that spans the width of the lid. It’s less successful than the updated fascia the front end looks wider, but the new rear looks too narrow. The 4.2-liter twin-turbo V-8 also serves in the CT6 Platinum, albeit in a detuned mode that produces 500 hp.

That should mean a 2.0-liter turbo-4, a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 and a plug-in hybrid with at least 31 miles of range.

Base equipment for the 2019 Cadillac CT6 is on the scarce end of things. No heated seats, no heated steering wheel, a 2.0L LSY turbo engine, 18-inch wheels and infotainment with a rotary controller sans navigation or apps as well as speaker audio system, multiple driving aides, a heads up display, 19-inch wheels, the four-wheel-steering Active Chassis Package and the game changing Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system.

While there’s a favorable point of entry, buyers need to understand that there’s a $36,300 difference between the base Luxury trim and top-shelf Platinum trim level for the 2019 Cadillac CT6.
