British Amb. to Egypt Bids Farewell from Al-Mu'izz street

CAIRO, SEP 1 (SEE)- British Ambassador to Cairo John Casson published a video on social media to bid farewell to Egypt after the end of his term.

Casson appeared in the video as he walked around the street of Al-Mu'izz in old Cairo, addressing a message to the Egyptians. "I can't walk away without saying goodbye to you... it's not a goodbye but, we will meet again," he said.

This month, Casson ends his four-year term in office. He served since August 2014, after he moved from 10 Downing Street, where he served as the Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Private Secretary from 2010 to 2014.
