Batman and Superman depart from DC Universe.. With talks of a reset looming
The recently launched DC Verse lost both it's main attractions as
Batman Star Ben Affleck and Superman Hanry Cavill both resigned from
their roles.
Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that Henry Cavill reportedly is no
longer part of DC cinematic universe as Superman. The actor, who first
appeared as the superhero in 2013’s Man of Steel, and later retained
his role in Superman V Batman and Justice League, is parting ways with
Warner Bros.
According to sources, the clashes came after talks of Cavill’s cameo

other more prominent sources state that Warner Bros is trying to
restart the DC universe after the failure of their biggest movie
Justice League.
Cavill leaving isn't the only concern within the franchise; Ben
Affleck was also rumored to have resigned from the project, after
publicly admitting he won't star in "The Batman" by Matt Reeves.
The DC Universe has been struggling with bad reviews, ever since
launching Man of Steel in 2013 and Batman vs Superman in 2015. The
movies achieved financial success, but garnered mostly negative
reviews by the critics and the fans. Suicide Squad wasn't considered
any better as the star studded movie failed to please the fans.
Wonderwoman was the only DC Films to garner mostly positive reviews
that stemmed from Gal Gadot's exceptional performance in addition to
it being the first Superhero movie centered around a female character.
The verse completely crashed both financially and critically with the
release of what was supposedly their verse's version of the Avengers,
after Justice League completely failed
