AUC Hosts Annual Conference for Research and Creativity

CAIRO, April. 2 (SEE)- The American University in Cairo will host the annual conference for research and creativity, from Saturday, April 6 to Thursday, April 11 at AUC New Cairo.

The opening ceremony keynote speaker is Mohamed Ghoneim, professor of urology and founder of the Ghoneim Urology and Nephrology Center who will be discussing “Research, Impact and People’s Lives” and the closing ceremony guest speaker is Ahmed Elghandour ’16, producer, El Da7ee7, his speech will be followed by along the awards ceremony for the winners who contributed in different fields of the RCC 2019.

Ahmed Elghandour’s speech: Thursday, April 11, 2019; 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm; Moataz Al Alfi Hall.

The conference includes experts and presenters from academia to discuss their latest findings in various disciplines such as design, economics, management, sustainability education, migration and refugee studies, cinematography, and community psychology.

The event aims to celebrate faculty, graduate and undergraduate research as well as creative achievements in all fields at AUC.  The goal of the RCC is to enhance knowledge-sharing, interdisciplinary research collaboration, and projects of community or economic value. It is an event that highlights AUC’s strategic priorities, strengthens research capacity, invigorates campus creativity and explores critical regional and global issues.
