Arab Contractors: 67% of New Administrative Capital's Parliament, Mosque complete

CAIRO, JULY 10 (SEE) Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company Engineer Mohsen Salah,  inspected on Monday "Al Fattah Al Aleem" Mosque in the new administrative capital.

The mosque consists of a basement and a courtyard with a capacity of 6,300 worshipers. It has six entrances including a side entrance for the ladies' prayer hall, a museum for celestial messages, a Quran memorization hall, and a clinic.

The structure includes four minarets with the height of 90 meters, the main dome with the diameter of 33 meters and the height of 28 meters,  and four secondary domes with a diameter of 12,5 meters and the height of 10 meters.

On the other hand, Deputy Chairman Engineer Imam Afifi inspected the new parliament's project, in which 67% of the concrete work has been achieved, he said.

The project is implemented on a 28 feddans surface. The main hall can accommodate up to 1000 parliament members, and offices with a capacity of 3,200 employees. The eight-story building will also include a basement, two domes with a diameter of 57 meters, two-story parking lot with the capacity of 1500 cars, a medical center, a security building, a power station building, electromechanical services building, a fire station, and a mosque.
