Up for Inspiration, Watch "The Artistic Engineer"

CAIRO, Dec.  (SEE)- "The Artistic Engineer" is a short film in which a gifted engineer narrates how he took advantage of his talent of drawing and mixed it with engineering while pursuing his dream.

Mostafa Ahmed, a 20-year-old engineer, was able to combine his talent with in his works and designs till he got the title of the artistic engineer. He took the art of painting as a tool in order to achieve good revenues that would aid him achieve his objectives.

Moustafa Ahmad said: “My name is Moustafa Ahmad Abdul Jawad, I am 23 years old. I hold a Bachelor of applied arts from the department of interior design. My studies and work may be far from my drawing talent for people but I try to combine between both of them, since preserving the artistic identity in my designs is the hardest thing. I do not consider painting just a hobby, but as a career through which I can make profit to save some money to achieve my goals soon after. We always hear that work affects the talent or vice versa. However, doing both as supporting factors to each other, this is already a real challenge. I hope to be called the artistic engineer, i.e. the real artistic engineer. No one can tackle this challenge and mix his talent with work. I may go on drawing paintings for 10 hours without getting bored because this isolates me from the world I live in.”
